Kifissia situated fourteen kilometers from the center of Athens, is a high end neighborhood, favored by aristocratic families since the previous century. Many old mansions and gardens from that period can still be admired. Today Kifissia still maintains this elegant style, but is also a popular destination for entertainment and holidays.

HOW TO GET HERE

By Train
Line 1 is the oldest of the three lines of the Athens Metro, running from Kifissia to Piraeus, via Omonoia and Monastiraki. The Athens & Piraeus Railway Company first opened the line, between Piraeus and Thiseio, on 27 January 1869, fully merged into the Athens Metro network with new lines 2 and 3 as line 1 in 2000.
